Mustang is an animal in FarmVille. The Mustang can be obtained by finding one on your farm similar to the Wandering Stallion or lost animals, such as the Bull. Farmers may then choose between 5 and 15 neighbors to assist them in "wrangling" the Mustang. These people will receive an email notification asking them to assist you in wrangling the Mustang. Unlike the Barn Raising, a farmer cannot post a feed on their wall for all neighbors to assist them. Farmers have 3 days for those chosen neighbors to click the link in the email so they can wrangle their Mustang. After clicking the first time, they have an option to ask for a second email the following day should you still need help. You can monitor your progress by mousing over the Mustang icon on the left hand side of the game screen.
Should you choose instead, you also have the option to buy the Mustang for 20 FarmCash when you find it on your farm. If you do not get 5 friends to assist in wrangling your Mustang at the end of the 3 days, you will have the option to buy it for 20 FarmCash with a 4 FarmCash deduction for every friend who helps wrangle it (ex. if 2 friends help wrangle it, the Mustang will become 12 FarmCash).
When you first place the newly wrangled Mustang on your farm, you will receive another pop up allowing you to post a feed to your wall. From this feed, five neighbors will be able to adopt their very own Mustang Foal. Should you want additional foals, the Mustang can also be placed in the Horse Stable and bred just like all other mares. As of June 11th 2010, the Mustangs were temporarily stopped, and may or may not be re-released.

Storage[]
Horse Paddock

The Mustang can be stored in the Horse Paddock. The Horse Paddock can be harvested every 1 day. When harvesting the Horse Paddock containing at least one Mustang, in addition to currency, it is possible to find the Mustang Foal or Animal Feed.
Horse Hall

The Mustang can be stored in the Horse Hall. The Horse Hall can be harvested every 12 hours. When harvesting a Horse Hall containing at least one Mustang, it is possible to find 2 Horseshoes. One is for the farmer, and the other can only be shared with friends.
Horse Stable[]

The Mustang can be stored in the Horse Stable. A Horse Stable can be harvested once every day. When harvesting a Horse Stable containing at least one Mustang, players have a chance to find one Mustang Foal*, Arborist, Farmhand, or 
100 experience. Farmhands, Arborists, and experience go directly to the player's gift box. However, the Mustang Foal may only be shared to the player's wall, where it may be adopted by the player's friends.
Note:
- Zynga considers the Mustang a horse. Horses require the presence of at least 1 (one) stallion in the Horse Stable in order to produce a foal.
