Raspberries are a fruit available for planting on FarmVille. Raspberries cost 20 coins per plot to plant. Upon harvesting, they yield 46 coins per plot. Rasberries used to provide 0 XP when seeded. However, considering their short, two hour growing time and 1 XP received for plowing each plot before planting the seeds, they are a very useful crop for farmers. They can be planted 10 or so times each day, considering they take 2 hours to grow plus additional time for plowing, planting, and harvesting.
On January 22, 2011, the XP gained by planting Rasberries was claimed to have been rasied from zero to 5. This would have made them go from having no XP to the highest. However, planting raspberries still results in gaining zero XP.
They are the fastest growing seed in FarmVille, taking only two hours from planting to harvest.
The Limited Edition crops Super Berries and Nachos (no longer available) also took two hours to mature before harvesting.
Mastery
The Mastery for this crop has recently been reduced. The mastery amounts were formerly 2000 for level 1, 4000 for level 2, and 15000 for level 3 with a total of 21000 harvests.
Upon reaching Mastery, Raspberries become the highest average experience per hour (1.1/plot/hour) amongst all normal (non-special) crops.
