The Longhorn Cow was an animal in FarmVille. It could only be placed on land or terrace areas, and takes up an area of 2x2 squares. Outside of a pen, it could be harvested every day for 
12 coins.

It had was originally released on May 14, 2010 as part of the Southwestern Event. When initially placed on the farm, it awards 
80 experience.
The Longhorn Cow was available from the market, as part of the Southwestern Event, beginning May 14, 2010.
The Longhorn Cow was re-released on August 11, 2010 as a reward for the 7th 
Mystery Game.
On October 27, 2010, it was re-released as one of the animals that could be obtained using the Animal Trough.

Cow Pasture
- Main article: Cow Pasture
The Longhorn Cow can be stored in the Cow Pasture. The Cow Pasture can be harvested every 1 day. When harvesting a Cow Pasture containing at least one Longhorn Cow, in addition to currency, it is possible to find two (2) Longhorn Calf or Animal Feed. The Animal Feed is sent to the player's gift box. If a Longhorn Calf is found, it is immediately available for placement. If it is not immediately placed, it is sent to the players gift box for later placement. The other Longhorn Calf or Animal Feed can be shared to the player's wall.
Dairy Farm

The Longhorn Cow can be stored in the Dairy Farm. The Dairy Farm can be harvested every 1 day. When harvesting a Dairy Farm containing at least one Longhorn Cow, in addition to currency, it is possible to find one (1) Adopt Longhorn Calf. If a Adopt Longhorn Calf is found, it is immediately available for sharing to a player's wall for the player's friends to collect.
Player was tending their cows when an adorable Baby Adopt Longhorn Calf caught their eye! This Baby Adopt Longhorn Calf is already eager to explore the world on their own and is looking for a new home.

- Dairy Farms were discontinued from the market, and new Dairy Farms could not be purchased. However, existing Dairy Farms were not removed from players' farms.
Up to 5 (five) Dairy Farms could be purchased and placed on each farm. Each fully upgraded Dairy Farm could hold up to 40 (forty) cows or bulls of any type, including the Longhorn Cow.
Bulls do not require the presence of any other cows in the Dairy Farm in order to produce a calf. However, cows require the presence of at least 1 bull to produce a calf.
Originally, only 1 (one) bull could be placed inside each Dairy Farm.
