The Herb Garden is a building in FarmVille. It was originally released on November 29th, 2012. The Herb Garden features special FarmVille herbs that are different from regular seeds and blooms but share some similarities as well.

How it works Edit

In a short explanation this is how the new Herb Garden works:

  1. Harvest your Herb Garden to collect seeds.
  2. Plant your new Herbs on your farm.
  3. Earn mastery stars to unlock new Herbs.
  4. Expand your Herb Garden to master faster.

Harvesting Your Herb GardenEdit

Your Herb Garden is harvested so that you can collect new Herb seeds. The number of seeds you receive when harvesting your Herb Garden can be increased by expanding your Herb Garden.

Stage 0 Stage 1 Stage 2 Stage 3 Stage 4 Stage 5/Finished
20 seeds per harvest 100 seeds per harvest 200 seeds per harvest 400 seeds per harvest 600 seeds per harvest 900 seeds per harvest

Expanding Your Herb GardenEdit

Expanding your Herb Garden is the best way to earn mastery faster and thus unlock new Herbs.

Your Herb Garden can be expanded with collecting the following materials:

Collecting Expansion SuppliesEdit

There are several ways to obtain parts for your Herb Garden expansion. The three supplies including Clay Pots, Special Soil and Peat Pellets can be sent/received for free via the Gifting Page. There’s also the option to ask specific friends for help by sending them help requests via the Herb Garden menu. Finally, you can find extra parts on your Facebook News Feed from your neighbors shares or purchase the parts directly using Farm Cash.

  1. Send and Receive via FarmVille Gifting page.
  2. Ask for help sending specific requests.
  3. Find parts on Facebook News Feed via neighbors’ shares.
  4. Purchase parts directly using Farm Cash.

Planting Your New HerbsEdit

Your new Herbs that you receive can be planted on your farm. Herbs can be harvested and fertilized just like any other FarmVille crop. They can also wither like FarmVille crops.

Unlocking New HerbsEdit

Once you earn three mastery stars for any specific Herb, you will gain mastery for that Herb and also unlock a new Herb! The previously mastered Herb, will then become available in the Market to grow as you would any normal seed.
