Acquisition[]
It was originally released as a limited edition crop during the Japanese Event. It required a farmer to be at least level 42 to grow and would mature after 16 hours. Wasabi cost 
200 coins and gave 
2 experience per plant. It could be harvested for 330 coins.

It was re-released as permanent crop on the Jade Falls Farm in June 2012. It could only be planted in terrace plots on the Jade Falls farm and never withered. It required 
to unlock. Wasabi now costs 
60 jade and can be harvested for 105 coins and 89 jade. It yields 2 experience when planted.
