The California Event is an event that occurred in FarmVille between February 24th and March 5, 2010. During this time, farmers could purchase special California-themed items. After the end of the event, both crops, White Grape, and Golden Poppy were re-released as a permanent addition to the market.

During this event, new items were released, which could be bought from the market. After the event had finished, the majority of the limited items became permanent. These were the White Grape Crop, Valley Quail , FarmVille Sign , Deluxe Lodge, Vacation Home, and Golden Poppy.
