The 20x20 Farm size is an upgrade to the 18x18 farm size and the 4th upgrade to the 12x12 farm size, on each new farm that FarmVille releases.

Plot limits
  1. These farms are expansion farms of the Home Farm and are not considered to be true farms with quests.
  2. Surveyors requirements were removed on January 19th, 2012.
  3. Neighbors requirements were removed on Unknown date in late 2012 or early 2013.
  4. Spook Level requirements were removed on December 12th, 2013.
  5. In 2015, FarmVille, changed the farms designs and switched away from the L (12x12 - 60x60) expansions to the Square (7x7) expansions.

    1. G1 and G2 (green expansions)are always found grouped together as one (1) group.
    2. The G3 (green expansion) and the B9 (blue expansion) were added, with the release of the Phantom Valley farm, to give players additional space and to add an additional week of tasks.
      1. G3 (green expansion), originally, was found near one (1) of the other green expansion on the earlier farms.
      2. The G3 (green expansion) was made into a normal sized expansion (9x9 plots), with the release of the Story of Sakura farm, and may or may not be found near other green expansions as before.
    3. G4, G5 and G6 (green expansions) were added, with the release of the Story of Sakura farm, to give players additional space and may or may not be found near other green expansions.
    4. The Avalon farms (Wilderlands and Kingdom)
      1. Do not have a blue expansion that is higher than B6 nor do they have red expansions that is higher than R10, as was originally intended for all farms.
      2. Because, there were many problems with having multiple seasons on a single farm;  All new farms, after the Avalon farms, had their blue expansions and red expansions increased in number.
    5. B10 and B11 (blue expansion) were added, with the release of the Story of Sakura farm, to give players additional space and to add additional week of tasks.
    6. R21 and R22 (red expansions) were added, with the release of the Namaste India farm, to give players additional space.
    7. R23 (red expansions) were added, with the release of the Story of Sakura farm, to give players additional space.
    8. W1 (white expansion):
      1. Was added, with the release of the Alpine Jingle farm as a 5x8 size, to give players additional space and to add a special location for special gifts/tasks/quests etc. ... and can not be purchased.
      2. Was not used on the Namaste India farm.
      3. Was changed in size from 5x8 to 4.5x9, with the release of the Story of Sakura farm, and is unlocked from a new building with achievement type quests.
    9. W2, W3 and W4 (white expansions) were added, with the release of the Story of Sakura farm, to give players additional space and is unlocked from a new building with achievement type quests.
