and, I attached (thought I did) a photo of my concerns with the 2 bloom entries being game screens...but after pressing Post ... I do not see my photo. Went back and Edited (without changing) the posting before this ...and the photo is there. Do not know if you will see it or not. ... And, what Category do the Bloom Garden items belong with per the Upload Photo Category listing?
Interesting answer. I gather you see nothing wrong with the Black Hollyhock or the Bird of Paradise images based upon your answer. My thought is that they are not what they should be because they look like images of voting screens and click chasers to me. I would expect those images to look more like flowers based upon the words under the images. Perhaps we play different variations of Farmville. I'll leave it to you to fix (or leave) as you desire. And, by the way, I understood yesterday that the parameters did not match the coding. Perhaps simplification was needed for you and/or others. I was asking for proper corrections to the template.
And, finally... I asked about the Category for uploading photo. I was going to add the mastery sign.
It is important that all images that are uploaded are properly categorized! Please, when you are uploading an image, put copy and paste the appropriate category below in the image summary when you upload it!
And, I looked at the Special Categories and did not find Bloom Garden category there either. </span>
Thank you for your reply 11 hours ago. Perhaps you meant it differently than I am currently reading it. Enjoy your Wikia!
The images you see in the category, shown in your image above, are picked by the wiki to be used based on several factors including the size of the image. Those images may be the voting screen images if they are on the page for the particular bloom. If there are more than 1 image shown on the page then the wiki will choose one based on many factors to be used for the Category image, so you can not go by the category image. You need to go to the page itself to make sure the correct image is in the correct location for the particular blooms.
Do not fear the Categories - If you know the correct category then use it, if you do not know the correct category then do not add one until you do. That warning message was just saying do not place random categories to the page and was giving you some of the main categories that are used.
The main templates will now automatically add the main categories to the page.
P.S. there is a Category:Bloom Garden
P.P.S. We all play the same version of the game, except in special country restriction conditions.
Sorry, we have no control over the images that are shown on the category pages. That is something that is decided by Wikia itself. We have requested them to select the image that is in the infobox, but they have not honored our requests so far. For the actual image of the bloom, you need to click on the page and view the infobox.
Bloom Garden items belong in Category:Bloom Garden. You can also check the page(s) the image will be displayed on to see if there are any other categories that might be relevant (for example, category:limited edition or category:bloom).
I see that both the Black Hollyhock and Bird of Paradise infoboxes are missing information about how long it takes those bulbs to grow on the farm. If you have that information, we would be grateful if you added it. The parameter for this is
|grow_time=. The time should be entered in hours.
Thank you for updating the page Purple Carnation to use the proper template and template parameters. What errors did you find, and on which specific template? I found and corrected the parameters for
farm. However, the older "world" parameter was still displaying in the newer "farm" parameter.
What do you think?
